Hello! My name is Alexander Krylov. I live and work in Russia. I am 33, and 15 of them I spent working with stone. Well I know the production technology. I am working with any type of equipment for decoration. This is a sandblasted, laser engraving, engraving machine (mechanical), handmade, retouching and restoration of old photos. Over the years, accumulated a large knowledge base, and clip art, the basis for vinyl cutting (for sandblasters), pictures of different subjects. I am a professional high-end portraits engraved on monuments, and I am in search of work abroad. The reason for this was a divorce from his wife, and now I do not want to stay in Russia. I want to forget everything and go somewhere far away, and do favorite work. In Russia, this business is highly developed and engraving is done by hand and engraved with the help of machines. I have experience in everything. When working with the machine, I first retouching with Photoshop. But best of all - it's handmade. If you are interested I can send an e-mail photos of my work. If you do not need the wizard, then I ask you, where you can get the job done. Sorry for my English, I write through the translator. I would be glad if you answer my letter. Good luck! postscript I am ready to share with you the experiences and developments in this area, as well as attract, if necessary, first-class masters. In the U.S., where many Russian, which may apply to you. I could benefit your business. Thank you! Contact Us - alexkryl10@gmail.com tel.: +7 (963) 778-57-52

My name is Jonathan. My email address is jvandekerkhoff@yahoo.com I would like to start a retail monument business. I am located in Atlanta, Ga. I do not have any experience in this industry and could use a mentor. I am not interested in actually producing the monument myself, just serving as a retail outlet in between customer and supplier. If there is anyone out there willing to take me under their wing a little and help me get started-(with my money, time and effort of course. I am not looking for an investor or a handout)-that would be amazing. I am an intelligent, hardworking individual that just wants to quit working in corporate USA and start building my own future. Please help me be my own boss.

Frank. Hi everyone I am from Sydney Austrialia a long way away and the industry in this country is a monopoly as its run by only a handful of people so I would like to revolutionize it in a way with new concepts and a cheaper alternative for people as the materials used and the labour are outrageously out of this world and not fair for the common people. I do not have any experience in this field but I do in the concrete business and I am looking at utilizing this material to my advantage as there is plenty of it everywhere in the world. Please help if you can or maybe you would like to be part of it. Joseph banach you didn't leave your details so as to be contacted. Thank you guys. My email is salatinofrank@hotmail.com

Hi, I am seriously interested in staring a monument business. for cemeteries in our area. I have access to granite , the tools needed and a driver. Due to the fact that I live in Canada, I am not sure how much you may be able to help me. I lost my son Kirk recently. He was only 30yrs. old and a proud dad of a iyr. old son. On his way to work he was killed by a drunk driver. I know what a difficult time this is for families. With so much to do in such a short time I would like to make this as easy an experience as possible. From my own experience, which turned into a nightmare with names spelled wrong, delivery went to another cemetery. It was terrible. Please send me any information that you can. Theresa Nolan, 9 George St N., Brampton, Ontario, Canada, L6X 0T6. Thank you in advance for any help you can give

If anyone would like to open a monument company in Gwinnett County, Georgia....I would be interested in a job with them.. I am from the REAL granite capital of the world and have 35 years in the granite industry. You do NOT have to have a lot of equipment to do your own sandblasting if you know the right contacts to order your granite wholesale from and have them do your engraving. getting the finished product ready to set in the cemetery. There is more to the business than just selling. Monuments come in all different sizes, shapes and finishes (not to mention quality of granite) plus, there are regulations in cemeteries and all of them are different. There are different types of letters and colors of Lith. And thousands of designs! A lot of different things you need to know. I have always enjoyed this type of work because I feel I have helped people during a difficult time in their life....it takes a special person to deal with people who are grieving. Learning the monument business is something you can't learn overnight. For those who need to learn the ropes, I suggest calling the Elberton Granite Association in Elberton, GA, at one time they held classes. There are approx 200 wholesale granite companies to buy granite from (hence, GRANITE CAPITAL OF THE WORLD) Some of these companies do their own drafting and sandblasting where you can get the finished monument ready to be set in the cemetery.

It really surprises me that there are so many people who think just because they know how to run a few programs on their computers, means they can produce something they would call a monument. I have been in this business for over 30 years and has am just totally disgusted with the so-called, designs. All the different computers and plotters I have HAD to learn to work with, are ALL WORTHLESS!!!!! Every one of them. If you want to start a monument company you had better have some kind of artistic talent and not rely on a worthless computer to do all the work for you. It takes imagination and skill to produce something you would want people to see. Computers have no place in this business, period.
