Hello, I am interested in worm farming, please can I have some more details on this. Do I need a land? where do I get the machines and what kind, source of worms...
  • Raghunath expert adviser said on March 30, 2011

@Anthony, Hello Anthony, I don't think you need much land/space to start a small scale worm farm. You can start worm farm with a 14 inch long, 9 inch wide and 7 inch deep box. I will suggest you to keep red worm. Worm also love to stay in dark place so keep the container away from light and make sure you have no vibration there. Add some garden soil and some boiled egg shells to this container and keep some black and white newspaper for their bedding material. You can also see the top FAQ section for more info.
