Frankly, this is not a very easy business. Dedication, right people to start it with and a feasibility study of what may be the outcome, knowledge of the basics in windows (since almost all of the software of clients are windows based) office specially excel where almost all will be done (computation of your feasibility, numbering of agents, numbering of overall manpower, salary computation, stats of Senior Managers down to the frontliners) and before those stuff one should know the basics of powerpoint where most likely, you are to present your proposals to the CEO's, managing Directors and High officials of the big time clients. You might be somebody who earned a degree in any University but you don't have the hands on experience. It might be very good in networks but not the simple office windows. Everybody has hos or her own role in this industry and one should know that. Dint be so selfish promoting yourself, generally speaking. , you might "I am an owner of a callcenter" giving it a month ypu closed down. Nowadays, we have to be smart, recession is everywhere, outsmarting others may help but may not be of a permanent thing however using the right amount of smartness, it might lead you to success. Honestly, I want to try a small center accommodating only 30-50 employees, I have been in the industry for quite sometime and I fairly know the people who to start the business with. My main concern is the money to start it with. Capital investors as they say. If a blogger of a company in any part of the world reads this and becomes interested on how I work don't hesitate to contact me thru email @ michael_singson@rocketmail.com basically looking at 50-100 employees initially, clients may give me a due date as to how many can I employees I can get. That's how it really works here, making sure that your deliverable are met on the due date or better yet ahead of time. I hope I made sense to everybody who wants to start call/contact center company. Nice to join this thread and Goodluck to everybody who wishes to own a call center company targeting foreign companies and outsource it to you countries.
