Hi, I'm from India and I want to open up a paintball field. I was wondering how much investment do I have to make initially? I dont need to worry about land. What would be the cost of basic paintball gear for a single individual and what else would I need? Where can I get the gears? Anyone with a successful paintball business please send your suggestions to kuchiki.byakuya060@gmail.com

To all the guys and ladies intending to open a paintball field!! Good Luck to you! And yes it is a great Idea as paintball unites people, teaches team work, increases critical and tactical thinking, encourages people to get fit and last but not least is a lot of fun. Keep in mind that paintball is supposed to be a gentleman game! So do not tolerate rude and vulgar behavior on your field. Politeness is the key to success! Bullies should not be tolerated!

Please keep in mind that where ever you intend to set up a field you will have to obtain a business license as well conduct inquiries from the local law enforcement, environmental departments and your immediate community. You don't want upset neighbors:)

Further I advise you to, first play the game, in order to network and get to know the players needs! Make sure you have well trained marshal's! as safety is essential and you don't want any law suits resulting out of neglected safety issues! In addition you might as well set up Marshall training course! Net work with the professional Associations. Form and or invite clubs to play at your place and listen to their advise! Decide what type of field you want to set up SPEED BALL, WOODS BALL or both.

    To buy the necessary equipment:
Get quotations and compare prices as well as quality!
Buy from your local suppliers first as they will in turn support you!
Know who can service or better learn how to service your markers!
the more you can do yourself the more cash you save.
in order start any business you should have a basic knowledge of accounting, marketing and common sense:)
Good luck again! If you have any further questions feel free to contact me at pegcsc@gmail.com

HI, really liked your advice you did answer all the questions I had, thank you So Much. Me and my daughter have part on our land 25 acres of forest, and in the gallery we also have like a swamp. We thought to ask a handy man to build some platforms so they could stand on as it can be pretty deep in certain places so perhaps we thought it would be good for the pros :). We are in NZ nxt to Waiuku South of Auckland. As we own the land do we need the council involved? We ve already spoke to our lawyer abt doing a liability assurance that covers any incident with the material and of course the players but where can we find but where could find a waiver form that is for paintball. Also what type of marker would we need to start with the shop is saying CO2 is better than compress air is it correct do we need to buy a compressor and what type as the person working at the shop doesnt really know abt that which isn't reassuring for us. Thank you So Much Kind regards Sylvie and Jeni
