    I'd like to know more details regarding what should be the dimension & number of chicken coops we can set up in one acre of land.     Thank you for the informative article about chicken farm business. I am a born farmer who grew up caring for chickens. I love chickens and whenever I keep them they flourish a lot. My problem is lack of support from my family, firstly because of religious beliefs. Whereas we are bound by our religion to observe the sabbath, I feel that my chickens suffer on that day because no one wants to feed them or even give them water. So I fear for them that in the time they are not fed they may get sick and so forth. The other setback is that I dont have the heart to charge a lot of money for the chickens esp because most of my customers are just friends of the family. So how can I turn this into a cut-throat business? Please advise me. Appreciation in advance.

    Hi, I live in Plano, Texas, U.S.A. I want to start a Poultry(chicken)farm business in my village in NorthWest Liberia. I plan to start with 5,000 chicks for egg-production but I have no experience in breeding/raising chickens.
