Hi, I want to start my own little workshop for gift box making. (Factory sounds too big a word for the startup) :) I am too naive here. Initially I plan to have die cut job work done from outside and then manual paper pasting and decorating the box. I do it an v v small scale at home for the ready made boxes but then margins r too low an i cannot fulfill bigger orders.
Can you please guide me -
1. If the job work needs to be done at my workshop is thr any machine for making die cut boxes by feeding a template to it? If so then can you suggest some options?
2. Manual box making and pasting would require any training for myself so where can i get it so that I can train people to work under me.
3. If not manual pasting, then how much is the investment in the pasting machine?
Let me know if I am thinking in the right direction. Also just a small thing to mention, manual option i want to keep so that i can employ the under privileged women in India to help them. Even for the automatic i can train them to operate the machines but then num of people wud reduce plus investment wud be high. Appreciate your help.
