Thx 4 the useful info about onion farming. I am an armature onion farmer from Butambala District, south western Uganda, East Africa. I am in the equatorial region with temperatures ranging 20-30 degrees celcius. The biggest problem is water as i farm upland. I am not yet in position to afford irrigation equipment. Even getting the Jamba F1 hybrid seeds is very expensive about US$276.70/tin of seeds. How can i get subsidised seeds? Yours in farming spirit. Gerald
