My husband and I have been vacationing in south central missouri near the Ozark National waterways for the last few years. I also lived in the area when I was younger. I currently work for a large retailer and am able to transfer to the area and maintain my current salary and benefits while living and working at the campground we are interested in purchasing. It has been a profitable business containing pull thru rv sites, tent, and cabins. It also has canoe, kayak, and float rental with all equipment. This is located at a very popular tourist attraction area. I have began my business plan and will qualify for small sba loan but down payment and entire loan amount are my obstacle. I do have a very capable family to run all areas of this business. I would appreciate the time of anyone interested in assisting us with our venture. Thank you

I have 150 acres on the Upper Cumberland River with over 1/2 mile on the river. This land is located in Whitley County, Kentucky in the Application Mountains. The property is close to Cumberland Falls State Park, Big South Fork National Park and 770,000 acres of Daniel Boone National Forest with well over 1 million visitors a season. This property is only 8 miles off I-75 Interstate 4 1/2 hours from Atlanta, GA, 3 1/2 hours from Cincinnati, OH, 90 miles South of Lexington, KY, and 86 miles North of Knoxville, TN. The property is on a paved road with water, electric, septic, natural gas. The property is less than 20 minutes from downtown Williamsburg or Corbin, KY. The largest canoe outfitter in our area will be using this property for putting canoes in and out of the Cumberland River. With all this said and I do own the property. I am limited on the amount of money I can put into this campground. I would appreciate any advise on how or should I pursue a campground. Thanks!

Sprague lake Washington. My parents and I are interested in buying a camping resort that is already running. It is 67 acres and already has everything needed including a on site store and pool. We want to be able to turn it into a fully handicapped camp ground for kids and adults with disabilities and there family's to enjoy. My question is dose anyone know of grant help or privet people who might be interested in helping us get this started? I have a disabled 6 year old daughter and as a parent I know how hard it is to find a camp site that she could enjoy with her sisters and family. any advice on how to turn this dream into a reality?

Hello, my wife and I have searched for the past couple years for a campground near the Smokey Mountains in East Tennessee. After looking at 5 different locations we always found something wrong that deterred us from getting serious about them. We also have teamed up with Ronald Vitkun, of Leisure Systems, - "Jellystone", to garner advice and recommendations. Recently we found a campground that will be auctioned off very soon in the Townsend, TN area. This particular campground offers everything we were looking for and more. It borders the Smokey Mountain National Forrest, has a river along its border, and is located near natural water fall's, and walking trails. This campground has several amenities in place with room for expansion.

Our issue is that we started an automotive related business a little over a year ago and even though we have good credit we don't have the required 10% to secure an SBA loan. We are needing $400,000.00 to try and purchase this campground before it goes up for auction, or bid on auction day. We would be willing to agree to a 10% return on the initial investors investment and a pre agreed percentage of the annual profits until the $400,000,00 is re-paid in full. Realistically this could be 3-5 years but could be as soon as 1 year. This National park receives over 11,000,000 visitors each year and is one of the most visited vacation destinations in the country. Anyone that may be interested in our offer can contact me at wjgriffith68@gmail.com for further details. Thank you for your time.

All these are rather old posts. Not sure if its worth my time but well see. I own 97 acres in Newark, Ohio. It is mostly wooded. It is close to Dillon Lake, Buckeye Lake, Hopewell Indian Mounds. and Blackhand Gorge. There are many large rocks, all sorts of wildlife and an Indian mound on the property. A few years ago I started to make campground. Made some roads and cleared a few sites. Had some interest from people wanting to camp. Never got further. I'm not sure what all would be required. But I have to come up with some way it can pay for it's property tax. Any information, partnership, investment, advice, or help of any kind is more than welcome
