Many of you posted your query about opening Pathological Laboratory / Radiology unit in different states of India and regarding investments / licensing procedure involved herewith. Starting a Pathological Lab with basic or routine tests does not require a huge investment. If you have your own space around 150-170 sqft., you can start your lab including collection center. Some basic instruments like Semi-Auto Biochemistry analyzer, cell counter, Electrolyte and Coagulation etc are needed. If you then also cut down the initial investment, then outsourcing some tests also is a good idea. But everything is depending upon the viability of the market you are going to be attached with. The licensing procedure is also not very complex.
