The question that I can't find an answer to is: How does this business survive in an age where companies now are simply scanning and emailing their packages, should I concentrate on a delivery service that handles more of packages rather than documents?..your help is appreciated.

    @Nathan, you seems to be all set. Yes, you need to work on a website because in this era it is not wise not to have a web presence. You can always follow the old styles but people will consider you latest if you have those gadgets handy.

    @zandile, best way to find the rates is by calling the local couriers and inquire the rates by behaving as a customer. Rate varies place to place so there is no easy way to it.

    @derenda malone, sad to know that you are not finding customers. I have couple of suggestions to try. Have you tried to sublease anything from bigger companies? Have you approached any medium and small scale companies for a corporate plan? Don't try to approach big companies as they don't make decisions and their corporate house might be having some kind of tie ups already. Medium and small scale businesses are your target. Do you have your website already? If not then this is something that you should work on and get one up and running soon. I hope this helps.
