Amit Sir pls. Guide me for the complete details for 2tan/hr chakki plant business location: Aligarh (up) varun.aligarh@gmail.com 9012011597 is there any option for 1tan/hr plant with optimum production cost
  • Amit Sharma expert adviser said on April 25, 2011
Dear shailender goyal, Setting up a Flour Mill in Alwar is good decision as Govt. has revoked the taxes from wheat products, secondly Alwar is located very near to many districts of Uttar Pradesh where the cost of Wheat is quite less than other states like Rajasthan, Haryana or Delhi. If you want to produce chakki fresh atta the feasible capacity is 2 Ton/Hr and If you opt for Roller Flour Mill the feasible capacity is 4 Ton/Hr. For costing of these projects you can refer my previous comments Posted here. 1/2 Ton/Hour Roller flour mill is neither available nor recommended, And 1/2 Ton/Hr Chakki Plant is not Feasible.

Dear Varun agrawal, Aligarh is good place to setup a chakki plant as the arrival of wheat and consumption of atta both are good. Aligarh is also best for Roller Flour Mill because of wheat products like Maida, Superfine Atta are mostly consumed in muslim areas. For the project setup and cost you may refer my previous comments.

Hello Sharmaji, I have one question for you why is it so that the Atta that is made from the traditional chakki Machine smells good and makes good Rotis and on the other hand the Rotis that are made from the Readymade Atta, from these big players (ITC,Pillsbury, etc) taste so average.
  • Amit Sharma expert adviser said on May 10, 2011
Because in MNCs like ITC/Pillusbury we dampened and conditioned the wheat before grinding and remove the Bran ( Fibers) before packing. Aroma ( Smell ) of Stones is more when we grind dry wheat and Taste is more better when we eat atta with more fibers. Local ChakkiWala in streets grinds the whole dry wheat which creats more aroma and taste. Because you get 100% Bran in that atta.

@satyendra yadav, First of all 10 Ton/Day is not a feasible capacity to start a flour mill, Secondly Packing Machines for the packets of 5-20 Kg are more costlier than the plant project cost. So, i'll advise you to start a 2 Ton/Hr chakki fresh atta plant for which the details are already given in my previous posts.

Mother Teresa Rural Development Society,  First you have to mention the name of Dal you want to process, Dal mill starts with the capacity of 2 Ton/Hr and ends no where.

want to buy china flour mill plant which can make atta maida suji
  • Amit Sharma expert adviser said on July 24, 2011
Why do u want to buy china plant when you can get good machinery in india itself. Buying cheap machinery is not good for setting up a business.

i want to start rice flour plant, could u help me in giving any project report related to this field. or else how can i start this plant, who r the clients, machinery required etc....
  • Amit Sharma expert adviser said on July 29, 2011
@deepak goyal, First decide the capacity and type of rice mill you want to setup, Whether you want to setup a raw rice mill or a par-boiled rice unit. A feasible rice mill starts with 3 Ton/Hr and if you opt for 3 TPH raw rice mill the project cost is Rs. 70 Lakhs with indian machinery.

Dear Amitji, I do appreciate your efforts to enlighten each one of us over here for setting up of Flour mill. However I do have a small query with regards to same, I would like to know the difference between the Roller Mills and Chakki Mill Plants. Also do let me know if the Chakki Mill Plants can produce the same kind of whole Wheat Flour that the neighbor side chakkiwala produces.
