I am wanting to start a health/wellness center and have been trying to locate a grant that would help me do this. However, everything I am finding is geared towards to western practices and/or research and I am losing hope. Do you know of anything that would help me with the start up for a Reiki/shamanism healing center? I am in Avilla, Indiana. Thank you and I will be ever so grateful for any help you may be able to offer.

Hi, I am 57 years old and disabled. I would like to start a quilting business. I live in a VERY rural depressed area in Southeast Missouri. Where would I go to find grants for this type of business. I would not necessarily want to make a profit. I would really like to set up a space where women could come and do their own machine quilting for a nominal fee. To take care of expenses and be a learning experience for those of us who don't have the funds for setting up a large quilting area. Those machines are expensive. I have the room to erect a building with enough room for parking. A little over an acre but no idea where to start.

Hi, my name is Crystal and I am interested in making natural fruit wines in my country, Barbados. I was inspired and encouraged by close friends and family who all try my products. I really believe it is a viable business venture as only 2 other businesses (male owned) are making fruit wines. My wines I guaranteed will be different from theirs, plus i have a few services i want to offer. One of my main concerns is start-up funds. Please, please, please I'd like some assistance even if I need to forward my business plan for you to have a look. Thanks

I am South African. I am urgently looking into opening a pharmacy in the city of Durban. My husband is a qualified Bpharm degree holder. We have viewed a site that is ideal and conducive to opening a pharmacy and a complimentary health clinic. there is an urgent need for extra health care with concentration on AIDS counseling. My husband has worked for many years as a pharmacist in hospitals as well as in pharmacies. He is the most humble person in the world and was just content with the meager salary that he earned. It is my vision to have our own pharmacy as our personal nature allows us to feel and provide for people, where a resourceful base would readily be available. Please advise where grants or funds could be made available as soon as possible. Nadiya, Durban KZN, South Africa

I would like to open a fitness center for children. There are a lot of centers for afults but nine in this area for children under 14 years of age. With childhood obesity I would think there would be. My dream is to have equipment that would not only provide exercise but would be fun as well. Exp. Bikes with a video game attached and while peddling they get farther in the game. Can anyone steer me in the right direction for a grant to secure a place and get equipment?
