Car sales in China has been steadily increasing since the country’s industrial revolution that it surpassed United States for three consecutive months, according to a state media report.

China, which is the fastest-growing economy in the world, has been focusing on industrialization for the last few years that it has now become the second-largest auto market worldwide.

While China has surpassed the US in auto sales, some experts said that this is attributed to the popularity of low-priced models—allowing more Chinese consumers to buy such products.

According to a recent report by the country’s auto industry, car sales has reached to nearly 1.03 million in March from 1.06 million last year of the same month-period.

And Chinese analysts predicted that total sales of cars this year can reach up to 10 million which is the first time in this Asian country, adding that US will be eventually toppled by China as the top auto market.

Meanwhile, US automakers have been experiencing relief for the past few months as its February sales has increased by nearly 25 percent—an impressive result compared to last year when Detroit’s Big Three have been reporting massive losses and slumping sales due to economic slowdown.
