2)Mumbai municipal license

@NANDU, gaming pc would start from 25000-45000 per pc and lan setup and server cost extra. earlier reliance used to own gaming cafe called zapak gameplex but they have closed or which city do you plan to start gaming cafe .its profitable if you have more pc with better space. you should have at least 2 months running rent in your place .let me know in case you want anything

@Robin, its nice to you showing interest in opening gaming retail shop. dvd can be brought from distributor who will give you 15-17% margin depending upon title. also you can tell me which city you plan to do same so i can mail you some more details to this but remember you need to have good inventory of games so you have to stock at least 10 lacs of games and console thx

@allister paul. ideas would complete depend upon how big you wanted to invest. we have seen people investing around 20-25 lacs in cafe. So let me know your budget so i can work on that gaming cafe such as console (xbox or ps3) or something else.please let me know thx

one more point giving best exp is good but buying a 70k pc and charging people 50rs per hour what the point? its my query. in other then that you setup 52"tv and xbox one console and charge people 150-200 per hour would it be not good option. next point is interior.for gaming lounge your interior has to good i should say best.

Secondly for area like 1000sq feet your budget is very low.as i wrote earlier in many cases budget has to increase as price of console and interiors have hiked a lot. i myeslf own a small gaming lounge in khargar for which investment costed me around 8.6 lacs for area hardly 400sq feet only. For dealer idea i prefer i could arrange you console for better rate with extended warranty. @Khan, will reply your query one at a time hope it will clear your doubt and i do have some query which i will ask after i reply your query. AS per my knowledge what i see gaming is local or wide network through various wifi available through people. Now playing wifi you need to host your own server for various games .Games such as battlefield ,counter strike and others which is applicable. you only need to publish your server locally and to your customer who can play across your city. but i have one doubt how will you make money when people will join your server globally. again you using word globally which finds a difficult to approach. my experience with lot of gaming lounge globally across india and other country say no one has done this as setting up wan would be expensive and people have there own net in there home so why would they do it.

I prefer you open your cafe locally and give it one of the best interiors which will make people to come at your place and play and when it come to globally they can use there own internet and play from there home . else you can start wifi hotspot of your own by taking bandwidth of some good internet company and start the work from there . let me know in case you have any query thx

@Anvesh, thx for replying in short notice, we wish to bring something into your notice that for starting pc gaming lounge some budget has to be considered-
a)Normal decent pc would cost you around 30000-35000 with graphics card included.a decent one
b)secondly you have to check that you have proper windows license for your cafe .if that is not concerned its fine.
c)for 10 computers you would need 10 copy of each game which is the legal way
d)your sitting should be comfortable
e)configuration should be amd or intel.Reason to go intel it saves electricity but amd are now days get you better graphics under your budget.
f)for upcoming high end games your budget is pretty low.upcoming games would be at least pc of 40000 -50000.so lets stick on present configuration only.
h)you need to have decent broadband connection also to have people to enjoy good multiplayer gaming.

@russell singh, hi russell, its nice of you showing interest in opening gaming cafe. i personally feel your budget is low but area is good. and this is not a business which can start for 1y ear and you close in year. i prefer if you feel doing proper this type of business then increase your budget first . secondly what type of gaming lounge you looking to start and how much rent you ready to pay and what growth you looking in this business. i suggest you should browse existing gaming lounge such as play360 delhi, f.o.g delhi, and lot others these are existing gaming lounge which are doing good business but they are spread on bigger area so let me know what plans do you have concerned to this thx and about space its small but if yho plan to strt under 2 lacs only it would be good place thx

@Anvesh, any good pc as i wrote earlier in which you should bundle gt240 graphics or gt210 graphics card with normal brand 460smps only. std 500gb hdd with good logitech keyboard. in case you have query please email me too..on my email id

@punit, area 400sq feet uis good. your total budget would cost aroun 3-5 lacs for 5 console with interiors. you should go with normal xbox and lcd tv only. else you can mix with playstation 2 in case your budget is low. thx

@Sachin Kawale, hi in nagpur ,you would need shop permission  ,which is normal, in case you interested in taking franchise let me know. and in case you interested in xbox then go with xbox dont go with mix setup. there is existing gaming lounge in nagpur wihch has invested around 12 lacs in total investment. let me know when do u plan to start the project .we will only work in case you interested to start in 10-30 days.

@Praveen, it's nice people are opening so many gaming lounge now days. But i am not able to get that without deciding rates u actually opened one. Anyway its fine. i will tell you how to calculate the price for gaming lounge.
a) first your location
In case you have space in kormangala you can charge from 100-150 per hour per customer
IN case some other place you charge 50-150 per hour
b)Second interiors
in case you investment more into interiors and it looks lucrative towards customer you can charge more amount
In case your interiors is normal you can charge norma amount
c)Lastly your total investment
in case you invested around 20 lacs for 2000 sq feet area you can charge normal amount 
but in case you investment like 20 lacs for 1000sq feet area you can charge big amount . as you have to see your breakeven and your return
calculating your rent part too.
usually in bangalore gaming  charges from 50-150-250 per hour only

@shreekant r goutam, respected sir 2 lacs is very less budget..as per my calculation but still this is what you can do, zet xbox 4 qty, led 22" 4 qty, wiring and fans and coolers (as AC wont come in ur budget), controllers and games cd and sitting normal. let me know in case i missed something thx
