@satish jadhao, textile is vast where project can be initiated from 3 cr to 30 cr in the beginning. Since we are doing a few projects in Maharstra near aburangabad and beed where ginning factories are more we can suggest you an integrated idea which will safely foot you towards your ambition in textile feed. u may first share your ideas with us so that we can give you the right direction and u can gain confidence without much investment.

I am interested in setting up a spinning plant in Kadi, Gujarat. Needed some help: Is Kadi a right place for spinning unit? What should be the minimum size for a profitable spinning unit personally I am targeting 10000 spindles)? From my research I understand that average cost per spindle is of around Rs 18000. Is it correct? In Gujarat, should i set up a spinning unit for knit fabric or weaving fabric? Can I use old machine and still get both Gujarat government and TUFS subsidy (10000 spindle should clear the minimum investment limit for both)? Waiting to hear back from learned peoples on this site.
  • manoharan competent adviser said on April 1, 2013

@mukesh pareek, the price of the spindle cost which u have arrived may be correct and if u mail us the count you have planned to manufacture we can answer properly. @mukesh pareek No doubt being cotton growing area Kadi is the right choice and in Kadi already mill is also there and few are planning. The cost per spl for carded will be around 22000 to 23000 as the land and construction cost is more.By the available cotton you can do the product mix 20s to 40s.Going in for second hand machines will not get good quality and less production apart from that you will not get govt subsidies and bank loan.pl call or mail for further clarifications

@pradeep, dear Mr Pradeep, if you are thinking for new project then margin money required is around 3 cr for indian LMW machinery. Rest 7 cr bank finance. so you will have 4320 spls with autodoffer. It will be viable also with some TFO machine to this new project as value additions. for free advise can contact me.9921787480

@rushabh mehta, you can think of gujarat, maharashtra and MP for spinning project. But pl see the land where good communication facility, less political interference, more electricity power, availability of raw material and overall labour availability. otherwise all your effort will have no use.

  • pradhan beginner adviser said on April 18, 2013

@mukesh pareek, I will suggest you to go for new LMW Indian machinery with coarser count as it is more viable. As you are new pl dont go for second hand or imported costly machinery. project cost approx Rs 27000 per spindle.

@ABIJIT, we are doing spinning project for few customers who are having ginning mill in Beed, Malagaon etc., Please mail ur id for further discussions. we have our office at Beed and we can give turn key solution for spinning projects in a cost effective way.we will support u with practical data how u can start spinning mill and reap profit. My first suggestion is the old maxim " don't put all eggs in one basket". since u r coming from Ginning you will have advantage over the raw material.

There has been a huge growth in cotton export (both yarn and ginned cotton) from India. Are yarn made from old or second machines also being exported or is it only the yarn from modern units only?
