You need to take note that in some cases, the government does not allow a lending company to be owned by a single proprietor due to a limited liability. In this case, you may need to incorporate, meaning you need to name your company with a name that is different than your own. You are doing this to separate all your personal assets from the business. If you do not do this, your personal assets may be jeopardized with your business assets.
Obtain a license from your local state office. This is required for you to operate legally. You may need to first have the requirements before you may be granted a license. Usually, with lending companies, the owner should have at least a minimum net worth of $25,000 up to $100,000.
Although your business can be located in any place, it is still recommended that you choose a strategic place. Choosing a good place will increase the chance of your business on being successful. Ideally, you can put up an office in area where there are a lot of people such as malls.
