Arni Cohen opened the first Arni’s Restaurant in 1965 at Market Square Shopping Center in Lafayette. The seating capacity of the restaurant was 120.

Arni together with his oldest son Kurt opened second full service operation in the year 1988. The seating capacity of the store was about 300. Until the number of restaurants became five.
Linarco Distributing is a distributing company created by Arni’s for them to obtain the control over the quality and varieties of their food products. 15,000 square foot commissary and distribution center was how the Linarco Distributing completed. Salad dressings, chili and dough are some of the products that they were able to develop with their own company. Also, they were able to stock products for the company’s stores and also outside restaurants too.
Brad, Arni’s youngest son started to join the company for franchise sales and its development. Throughout central Indiana in over the years, there were about 9 franchises that have been sold.
On February 7th, 2002 Arni Cohen died and his sons Brad and Kurt Cohen are the ones who are continuing his vision.

Even if you say that you have tons of money, it is still not right to just start a business and do not give it that much focus.
Another thing that you should do is to plan everything. Having a daily planner will be a great help as it will help you to remember all the things that you need to do. This way, you will be able to effectively manage your business and will not lose focus into it. Or, if Arni’s has managerial plans and strategies, you have to follow them correctly.
Always visualize. Think of the things that you want to achieve given a certain period of time. Set goals and mark your achievements. If you want, you can reward yourself and even your employees if your business has reached a certain milestone.
The most important thing that you have to remember if you want to be successful in business is to always give enough focus so that you may be able to do your best.
