Composting – Instead of using traditional synthetic fertilizers that contains chemicals, it is being replaced by “composts” as the key ingredient in flourishing the farm soil. Composts are simply organic matters from decomposing plants and animal wastes, and it is believed that it contains nutrients which are essential for the nourishment of the crops.
Natural or Biological Pest Control – Use of synthetic pesticides are also strictly prohibited in organic farming, controlling pests can be done through natural processes like predation.
Green Manure – This method as known as a form of cover-crop which aims to nourish the soil with organic matters and essential nutrients.
