Wal-Mart to Open Online Store for Health and Beauty Products
In a bid to provide better shopping experience to its loyal customers, Wal-Mart, the largest retail store chain in the US, has launched a long line of discounted health and beauty care products in its online store.
According to company merchants, items purchased at the online store included free delivery giving more flexible shopping options to people.
The largest retail store chain in the United States, Wal-Mart, has announce on Monday plans to sell health and beauty products in its online store, including door-to-door delivery.
In a statement, Wal-Mart marketing team said that it will now offer baby care products, vitamins, and other over the counter drugs at its online store, aside from the long line of branded health and beauty products.
But the great thing about Wal-Mart’s offer is the home delivery that is included in the services offered.
Also, customers can get free samples of products that can be found in the online store by just visiting .
“Wal-Mart has long been the destination place for people who want to have the buy products that are worth their money. They have trusted our stores with best values on health and beauty products and now, they can access great savings at our online stores,” Walmart.com chief merchant Kelly Thompson said.
“With the launch of these health and beauty products at our online store, we can help those consumers that don’t have the time to shop outside. Now, they can shop the way they want at the comfort of their own homes,” Thompson added.
Following the launch of the beauty care products at the Wal-Mart online store, company socks shot up by some 1.47 percent or $50.34 per share.
