Sony Ericsson introduced Aino gaming mobile phone, which is expected to be released in June this year.

According to the handset maker, the cell phone can be synchronized with popular gaming console Sony PlayStation 3 through a charging device which is included in the item.

Mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson has recently announced its new 8-megapixel touch screen phone that features Play station-inspired gaming technologies that will meet the needs of hard-core gamers.

Sony Ericsson said that Aino mobile phone, which is expected to be released in June, can be connected with popular gaming console Sony PlayStation 3 through a charging device which is included in the item.

In a statement, Sony Ericsson Market Business Manager Alexandre Cardon said that Aino brings the latest communication technology and provides innovative ways to allow users to enjoy interactive games.

Cardon also said that the new Sony Ericsson has been designed to maximize the entertainment experience of Play station 3 users.

Meanwhile, the game industry in the US declined by 17 percent or $1.43 billion in March which is the first time this year, according to research market firm NDP Group.

However, Sony Ericsson remains optimistic by releasing Aino which can be synchronized with Playstation 3, analysts said. However, the gaming console has to introduce more games to lure people into buying this gaming phone.

According to NDP Group, more than 200,000 Sony Play station 3 were sold in March, ranking on the fourth place behind Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, and Microsoft Xbox 360.
