I am a teacher and i like to start quail in a small scale business, first step i bought quail from a person who hatch eggs in incubator and sells it i purchased 20 cost 25 per quail even after 2 months it is not laying eggs its cage food everything provided is in good condition ,the seller instructed it would lay within one week but since two months it is not laying eggs majority about 12 of them are female, the seller said he would provide medicine it would lay eggs, i am worried my first step in this failed, cost of its food is very high so please give information how to buy and select good quails, where do we get it. Hello personally I have a limited knowledge of breeding birds. Although I do want to do this with Quail and live in the most perfect place for it! North/Central Texas! We have just the right type of terrain as well climate for doing so. But there are a lot of breeders in Texas.
