Called that consumer-directed health plans, the new type of health care will slash down premium payments up to 20 percent making it a more viable choice for workers who have high bills. This will be available by the start of enrollment season next month.
US employees have something new to look for this fall as companies and employers in America plan to provide a new type of health coverage option that will slash premium payments by up to 20 percent. Called the consumer-directed health plans, the scheme may vary depending on the employer and will require careful comparison among other options before they can allow employees to make the switch. The cut with the health coverage payments, employees can now enjoy tax breaks, which has long been bothering them due to heavy monthly loads. Based on records, the said optional plans have been offered by health care companies for several years now. It was also only now that employers are making use of these due to the rising cost of health care and recession-based problems. It was also the best time for employees to take advantage of the higher deductible plans as open enrollment starts next month for many US companies. Open enrollment is the annual window for employees to adjust their coverage for their respective health care.
