In a technology conference in Dubai, Microsoft sales, marketing and licensing head Steven Guggenheimer said that despite the worst condition of the economy, the world’s biggest software developer still hopes to make fairly good progress with the launching of the new Windows OS.

“We at Microsoft hope that the things we do will continue to impact the society and we can move forward through technological advances that will help spur growth in the overall economy,” Guggenheimer said.
