G20 Urged to Focus on Women and Children’s Plight during WarsSummary: G20 leaders were urged by an anti-war group to focus its attention on women and children issues during wars, saying that the plight of this people is often unheard of to the world. Displaced women and children, according to the group, are often exploited in refugee camps and the world does not even know it.
A group on anti-war protesters over the weekend announced plans to set up a “tent city” at the site where the Group of Twenty (G20) economic summit will took place in a bid to convince member countries to focus its attention on women and children’s plight during wars.
